My sincere thanks to all those involved in my last concert with Cavatina Singers. I was especially proud of all the members of Cavatina for the wonderful performance last night and will miss working with the choir. I also would like to thank the very talented soloists; Frances Gregory, Hannah Poulsom, Eleias Roberts and Meilir Jones, my esteemed colleagues from the RWCMD; Calum Fraser, Victoria Pilley and Michael Pilley and special thanks to accompanist Philip May. It has been an absolute privilege working with you all and I feel honoured to have had the post of conductor with Cavatina Singers! A very special thanks to all those singers and instrumentalists who were involved in the Saint David’s Day concert that took place in the Dora Stoutzker Hall at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff. Cor Cadwyn and the RWCMD Brass Ensemble premiered the first performance of Cadwyn, a set of Welsh Folk Songs especially arranged for the college by composer Gareth Glyn.
